Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of predictive care on patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods Clinical data of 50 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted in our hospital from May to October 2017 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different nursing measures,20 patients in the control group were provided with routine care and 30 patients in the observation group were supplied with predictive care. The quality of life score,Japanese Orthopedics Association(JOA)score and visual analogue scale(VAS)score of two groups before and after nursing were observed. The rehabilitation effect of the enrolled patients was observed. Results There was no significant difference in quality of life,JOA score or VAS score before nursing in the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the quality of life score and JOA score of patients with lumbar disc herniation were significantly higher than those before nursing. The VAS score was lower than that before nursing. These three indexes in the observation group were all superior to those in the control group. The excellent and good rate of rehabilitation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive care in patients with lumbar disc herniation can improve the quality of life score and JOA score, alleviate pain and enhance the rehabilitation efficiency, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
