Abstract：Objective To investigate the application effect of magnetic attachment in prosthodontics.Methods 108 cases of dental patients treated in our hospital from October 2012 to November 2016 were selected as the subjects,and divided into two groups by random table method,with 54 cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional residual root attachment prosthodontics,and the study group was treated with magnetic attachment oral repair.The treatment effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.ResultsThe masticatory efficiency and fixation force of the patients between the two groups before oral rehabilitation were compared,and the differences were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).After repair,the masticatory efficiency and fixing force of the two groups increased,and the the masticatory efficiency and fixed force in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before the restoration,there was no significant difference in the scores of speech function,appearance and comfort between the two groups(P＞0.05).The speech function,appearance and comfort scores of the two groups increased with oral cavity repair,and the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total satisfaction rate of the study group was 100.00%,and the control group was 79.63%,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Application of magnetic attachments for dental patients can significantly improve the clinical efficacy,improve the speech function,appearance,patient comfort and satisfaction rate,optimize the indicators of the operation,and improve the early recovery of the patients confidence,which is worthy of widely used in clinic.
