Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of thyroid space occupying lesions.Methods A total of 234 cases of thyroid occupying lesions treated in our hospital from Junuary to December in 2017 were selected as the subjects.All the patients received color Doppler ultrasound and pathological diagnosis to evaluate the value of ultrasound diagnosis.Results Pathological examination showed that all the 234 cases were diagnosed as thyroid occupying lesion,and 234 cases were detected by ultrasound.The benign nodules were characterized by longitudinal and transverse ratio of<1,echo,mixed echo,morphologic rule,and boundary clear.The malignant nodules were hypoechoic,extremely low echo,vertical and horizontal ratio>1,irregular shape,blurred boundary,and lobulated edge.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ultrasound diagnosis were 73.58%,92.27%and 88.03%respectively.Conclusion Ultrasonography has high accuracy in diagnosing thyroid space occupying lesions,and has obvious advantages in differentiating benign from malignant lesions.
