Abstract:Objective To summarize the efficacy of Alogliptin combined with Metformin in the treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to evaluate the safety of its treatment.Methods A total of 78 newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes from August 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the subjects,and divided into the control group(34 cases)and the observation group(44 cases)by double blind method.The control group was treated with metformin lowering glucose treatment,and the observation group was treated with Alogliptin combined with Metformin lowering glucose treatment.The effects of hypoglycemic of the two groups were compared.ResultsThe improvement of fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose level,glycated hemoglobin and fasting insulin after treatment in the observation group was better than before the treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose level,glycated hemoglobin and fasting insulin after treatment in the observation group was better than that of the control group after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the rate of BMI,incidence of hypoglycemia and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Alogliptin combined with Metformin is effective and safe in the treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes.
