Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscopic total extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair in the treatment of recurrent inguinal hernia. Methods Forty-one patients with recurrent inguinal hernia admitted to our hospital from September 2015 to March 2017 were selected as the research objects.they were randomly divided into control group(n=20)and experimental group(n=21)by odd-even number.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional patch tension-free hernioplasty while patients in the experimental group were treated with laparoscopic total extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair.the clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients with recurrent inguinal hernia after treatment were compared. Results The utilization rate of analgesic drugs and the incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time, postoperative bed time and postoperative pain time in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, and the bleeding amount in the experimental group was significantly less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of laparoscopic total extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair is good for patients with recurrent inguinal hernia. The patients have less surgical trauma, reduce postoperative complications, and the patients get out of bed early after surgery, which is conducive to postoperative recovery and prognosis.
