Abstract:Diabetes mellitus is one of the important chronic non-communicable diseases. The prevalence and number of patients increase year by year.As the disease progresses, diabetes can affect all organs and tissues of the body. Its treatment measures include exercise, diet, education, monitoring and medication.Tai Chi,as a kind of exercise therapy,is one of the main measures in the management of diabetes healthy exercise and can be used as intervention or adjuvant treatment. This paper reviews the recent progress in the role of Tai Chi exercise in diabetes therapy.
