Abstract:ObjectiveTo understand the clinical indicators and pathological features of patients with IgA nephropathy and hyperuricemia, and to investigate the influence of hyperuricemia on IgA nephropathy.MethodsA total of 125 patients with primary IgA nephropathy definitely diagnosed by pathological detection after renal biopsy who hospitalized in nephrology department of our hospital from March 2013 to June 2017 were enrolled.Among them, the ratio ofmale to female was 44 cases to 81 cases.According to the serum uric acid level, they were divided into the normal uric acid group (69 cases)and the hyperuricemia group (56 cases). The indexes of age, gender, serum uric acid, serum creatinine,24-hour urinary protein, serumalbumin, blood cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin were recorded. All patients were performed with renal pathological examinations and Lee parallel grading. The clinical and pathological features of the two groups were statistically analyzed.ResultsThe level of 24-hour urinary protein excretion, serum creatinine, triglyceride and total cholesterol in the hyperuricemia group were higher than those in the normal uric acid group (P<0.05).The Lee grading of renal pathology in the hyperuricemia group wasworse than that in normal uric acid group(P<0.05).ConclusionPatients with IgA nephropathy are likely to develop hyperuricemia.Compared with patients with normal serum uric acid, their clinical manifestations and renal pathological injury are more serious, suggesting that hyperuricemia is associated with the prognosis of IgA nephropathy and should be paid great attention and provided with effective treatment as an intervention in time.
