Influence of auricular points plaster therapy on intervention effect of overabundant liver-fire type hypertension

Abstract：Objective To discuss the intervention effect of auricular points plaster therapy on overabundant liver-fire type hypertension.Methods Eighty patients with overabundant liver-fire type hypertension managed by Binhe Community Health Center,Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Futian District in Shenzhen City from February 2016 to October 2017 were selected,and they were divided into the two groups according to the random number method,there were 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the study group was given auricular points plaster intervention therapy.Blood pressure control,sleep quality and quality of life and so on were compared in patients between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than that of the control group(82.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the indexes of SBP and DBP before treatment btween the two groups(P＞0.05),and the indexes of SBP and DBP after 1,2,3 and 4 weeks treatment in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the sleep quality score between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the sleep quality score of the patients in the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the SF-36 score between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After the treatment,SF-36 score of the patients in the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Auricular points plaster therapy treating overabundant liver-fire type hypertension can better control the blood pressure of patients,and it plays an important role in improving sleep quality and life quality,and can improve the therapeutic effect and is worthy of promotion.
