Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of perioperative prophylactic use of antibiotics and to analyze the application value.Methods300 surgical patients of Department of General Surgery in our hospital from March 2015 to September 2016 were selected as study objects. All patients were given prophylactic antibiotics during perioperative period. The incidence of incision infection and the length of hospital stay were recorded, and the infection rate of different types of incision and the methods of drug use were compared and analyzed.ResultsIncidence of postoperative incision infection and average length of hospital stay of 300 patients was respectively 5.33%and (6.1±1.0)d.In general, the infection rate of typeⅢ incision infection was significantly higher than that of typeⅡand typeⅠ,the infection rate of typeⅡincision infection was significantly higher than that of typeⅠ,with statistical difference(P<0.05).The incidence rate of incision infection in the triple drug combination was significantly higher than that in the two drug combination and the simple medicin, the incidence rate of incision infection in the two drug combination was significantly higher than that in the simple medicin, with statistical difference (P<0.05).ConclusionProphylactic use of antibiotics during perioperative period is helpful to reduce the rate of postoperative incision infection and the recovery rapid of patients. However,in order to obtain a more ideal effect, the appropriate medication method and medication time should be chosen according to incision type.
