Objective To investigate the method of targeted nursing for patients with chest tumor after the prevention of postoperative mental disorders. Methods A total of 150 patients with thoracic cancer in our department from October 2016 to April 2017 were selected, and randomly divided into two groups, the observation group (n=75)and the control group(n=75).The control group was received routine surgery care and prevention measures of department of thoracic. On the basis of the nursing care of the control group, the targeted nursing program of the patients in the observation group was given. The incidence, duration of POP and nursing satisfaction rate were recorded. Results The incidence of POP in the observation group (2.7%)was significantly lower than that in the control group (10.7%),and duration of POP patients in the observation group[(20.12±11.13)h]was significantly lower than that of the control group[(36.01±14.56)h],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group (94.7%)was higher than that of the control group (84.0%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing measures to prevent postoperative mental disorders in patients with chest tumors can reduce the incidence of postoperative mental disorders and shorten the duration of POP,and greatly improve the satisfaction rate of patients.
