Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of lavage fluid temperature on postoperative complicationsand temperature regulation after percutaneousnephrolithotomy(PCNL).Methods Altogether 70 cases of renal calculus patients scheduled to perform PCNL from April 2015 to April 2016 were selected and divided into the room temperature group(lavage fluid temperaturewas 25℃)and the heating group(lavage fluid temperature was 37℃)by random number tablemethod.The effect of different lavage fluid temperatures on the axillary temperature,hemoglobin,urea nitrogen,creatinine,stone clearance rate were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe postoperative temperature of heating group decreased(0.4±0.3)℃,which was lower than that of room temperature group[(1.1±0.3)℃],with statistically significant difference(P<0.01).The pre-and post-operative average hemoglobin,creatinine,urea nitrogen changesand the stone clearance rate of the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).ConclusionThe heated lavage fluid can significantly improve the postoperative low body temperature,and has no effecton the bleeding,renal functions and stone clearance rate.
