Abstract：ObjectiveTo observe the effect of retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy in the treatment of ureteral calculi.MethodsFrom January 2012 to December 2016,64 patients suffering from upper ureteral calculi treated in our hospital were selected.According to patients′will for various surgical modes,they were divided into the control group(n=32)and observation group (n=32).The control group was treated with traditional open stone removal operation while the observation group was treated with retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy.The clinical related indexes and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe operation time in the observation group was(60.23±1.15)min,and it was shorter than that in the control group([89.22±1.85]min)(t=75.28,P＜0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was (30.35±1.54)ml,which was fewer than that in the control group([110.96±1.5]ml)(t=209.38,P＜0.05).The time to be off bed in the observation group was(1.71±0.13)d,which was shorter than that in the control group([3.69±1.02]d)(t=10.89,P＜0.05).The hospital stay of patients in the observation group was(6.13±1.55)d and it was shorter in comparison with that in the control group([8.89±1.74]d)(t=6.70,P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.13%,and it was lower than that in the control group(9.38%)(t=4.27,P＜0.05).ConclusionRetroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy treating upper ureteral calculi can obtain a remarkable effect with high safety,which is worthy of promotion.
