Efficacy of acupuncture combined empathy nursing on sleep quality of patients with chronic insomnia

Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of acupuncture combined empathy nursing on sleep quality of patients with chronic insomnia.Methods80 patients with chronic insomnia patients in our hospital from August 2014 to December 2016 were selected and were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with acupuncture method combined with empathy nursing,while the control group was treated with acupuncture combined with routine nursing.The clinical effects and sleep conditions were compared between two groups.ResultsThe total effective rate and sleep quality improvement rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing,there were no significant differences among the scores of PSQI,time to falling asleep,sleeping time and number of taking sleeping pills a week in two groups(P>0.05);after nursing,the scores of PSQI,time to falling asleep,sleeping time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the number of taking sleeping pills a week was less than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionCombined Acupuncture with moxibustion therapy can significantly improve the empathy nursing of patients with chronic insomnia,insomnia,sleeping pills to take to reduce the number of patients with insomnia,reduce the pain,improve the sleep quality of patients significantly.
