Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of PDCA cycle management in enhancing the first elective surgery punctuality rate.Methods200 patients took elective surgery from January to December 2015 were selected as study objects. The factors and time founding of first elective surgery were analyzed.According to the related factors influencing the first selective operation on founding,PDCA cycle management concept was introduced from January 2016 to December.PDCA circulation management was adopt and corresponding management countermeasures was implemented.A comparative study was carried out in 200 patients undergoing elective surgery between January 2016 to December. Before and after the implementation of PDCA cycle management, first elective surgery punctuality rate, punctuality of next surgery, operation delivery time, surgery time interval of next surgery and doctor satisfaction were compared.ResultsCompared with before PDCA cycle management, the first elective surgery punctuality rate and punctuality of next surgery obvious increased after management(P<0.05);The operation delivery time and surgery time interval of next surgery obvious decreased(P<0.05);The doctor satisfaction increased obviously(P<0.05).ConclusionUsing PDCA cycle management in operation can enhance first elective surgery punctuality rate effectively,is helpful to shorten the interval time of the operation and then improve the turnover efficiency of operation room.
