The high-risk pregnancy management in rural women in Xinjian District of Nanchang City from 2007 to 2015 and its effects

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect and application effect of high-risk pregnancy management in rural women in Xinjian district of Nanchang from 2007 to 2015.MethodsBefore the application of high-risk pregnancy management,28 682 rural pregnant women in Xinjian District of Nanchang City (overall 19 villages and towns)from 2003 to 2006 were selected as group A.After the application of high-risk pregnancy management,72 656 pregnant women in this district from 2007 to 2015 were selected as group B.The clinical data of pregnant women and pregnancy outcomes of neonates in two groups were retrospectively collected.The effects of rural high-risk pregnancy management in Xinjian district of Nanchang and related factors were analyzed.ResultsThere was no statistical difference in the rate of highrisk pregnant women between two groups(P>0.05).The mortality rate of pregnant women,rate of low birth weight infants, fetal death and stillbirth rate,perinatal mortality rate of group A were higher than those of group B,and the rate of highrisk management,rate of postpartum visit,rate of establishing card,early detection rate,system management rate,hospitalized delivery rate of group A were lower than those of group B (P<0.05).ConclusionSystem management conducted in rural parturient with high-risk pregnancy can effectively reduce the adverse pregnancy outcomes of high-risk pregnant women and the defect rate of perinatal infants and so on.The generalization of high-risk pregnancy screening in rural areas can strengthen service ability of rural health institutes and training of medical skills,and further enhances health education for pregnant women and their families,so as to improve health conditions of rural women.It is suggested that government continue to increase efforts to maternal and child health in rural areas.
