Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of combination of Nerves-Soothing Decoction and acupuncture in the treatment of cardiovascular neurosis.Methods Altogether 210 patients with cardiovascular neurosis who were treated in department of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Internal Medicine in our hospital from July 2011 to May 2015 were divided into two groups.Control group was treated with Nerves-Soothing Decoction,while observation group was treated with combination of nerves-soothing decoction and acupuncture;the curative effect,TCM symptom improvement, Hamilton Anxiety and Depression Scale(HAMD)and self-rating symptom scale(SSS)score between two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment of observation group(97.14%)was significantly higher than that of control group(75.24%),with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The post-treatment TCM symptom score of observation group in palpitation and shortness of breath,dizziness,head and body heaviness,insomnia and sweating fatigue were significantly lower than those of control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The posttreatment HAMD and SSS score of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of Nerves-Soothing Decoction and acupuncture in the treatment of cardiovascular neurosis achieves good clinical effect and can relieve the symptoms,which can improve patients′physical and mental health and is of great clinical significance.
