Abstract:Objective To explore the application effects of effective communication in the nursing of recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI)in children.Methods 120 children with RRTI from December 2014 to January 2016 of department of pediatrics in our hospitalwere selected and divided into control group(n=60)and observation group(n=60)according to random number table.Patients in two groups were given routine nursing care of respiratory tract infection,patients in the observation group were further given targeted and effective communication between children and their familieswith RRTIduring nursing full course on the basis of conventional nursing.Communication utility included attitudes,language comprehension difficulty,whether it could effectively solve the problem were evaluated by parents of children in two groups.After treatment for 4 days,the clinical treatment effects like temperature,sign,symptom and complications were observed respectively.Results All of the communication attitudes,comprehension difficulty level and solve the problem score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05);the total effective rate in the control group was 81.7%,with 98.3%in the observation group,and the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion Effective communication mode that nursing staff use in nursing of children with RRTI can enhance nurse and patient communication utility,enhance the compliance of children and their families to nursing staff,which makes the nursing staff can help the children and their families to solve timely and effectively the health problems,improve clinical treatmenteffects,promote rehabilitation of children,and ease the financial burden and get better effect in clinic.
