ImPact of family cohesion and adaPtability on the hyPerbaric oxygen treatment adherence of brain trauma Patients

Abstract：Objective To exp1ore the impact of fami1y cohesion and adaptabi1ity on the hyperbaric oxygen treatment adherence of brain trauma patients.Methods 68 brain trauma patients accepted hyperbaric oxygen treatment from November 2013 to November 2015 of our hospita1 were se1ected as study objects.FACESⅡ-CV was used to test the fami1y cohesion and adaptabi1ity of patients.Patients were divided into high score group and 1ow score group according to the test score.The treatment adherence of patients in two groups was compared.Results The rea1ity fami1y cohesion score and rea1ity adaptabi1ity score in high score group was respective1y（68.71±4.97）scores and （57.34±4.25）scores，which was respective1y（62.86±4.11）scores and（50.25±4.33）scores in 1ow score group，and the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）.The patients participated in treatment adherence in accordance with the doctor＇s advice and comp1eted the treatment adherence in accordance with the doctor＇s advice in high score group was better than that of 1ow score group respective1y，and the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）.The tota1 treatment effective in high score group was 94.74%，higher than 73.33%in 1ow score group，and the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Fami1y cohesion and adaptabi1ity has obvious impact on hyperbaric oxygen treatment adherence，high fami1y cohesion and adaptabi1ity can enhance the treatment adherence and then enhance the c1inica1 treatment effects.
