Clinical application of laryngeal mask ventilation general anesthesia in thoracoscopic surgery

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical application of laryngeal mask ventilation general anesthesia in thoracoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients with thoracoscopic surgery who admitted to the Department of Anesthesiology, Thoracic Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January 2017 to February 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group by lotting, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received general anesthesia with double lumen tube ventilation, and the observation group received general anesthesia with laryngeal mask spontaneous ventilation. The waking time, spontaneous recovery breathing time, time to get out of bed and the total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative awakening time, spontaneous recovery breathing time and getting out of bed time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of laryngeal mask airway general anesthesia in thoracoscopic surgery can shorten the time of waking up and postoperative getting out of bed, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
