Objective To explore the effect and safety of compound Azinmide combined with Mosapride in the treatment of gastrointestinal disease-related dyspepsia in the elderly. Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with gastroenteric-related dyspepsia admitted to the Geriatric Department of Ganzhou People′s Hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected and divided into the combined group (50 cases) and the control group (50 cases) according to the random number table method. The combined group was treated with compound Azinomide combined with Mosapride, while the control group was treated with Mosapride alone. The symptom score, quality of life score, clinical efficacy, symptom disappearance time, length of hospital stay and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the severity score and symptom frequency of both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the combined group was lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than that before treatment, and the combined group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The time of symptom disappearance and hospital stay in the combined group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Compound Azinomide combined with Moxapride has significant efficacy and high safety in the treatment of gastrointestinal disease-related dyspepsia in the elderly.
