Abstract:Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a common disease of the digestive system. In the category of traditional Chinese medicine, it belongs to "acid regurgitation" "ructus" "heartburn" "epigastric upset" "dysphagia" "globus hysteriocus", etc.In recent years, the incidence rate has increased year by year.If the effective treatment is not taken in time, the life quality of patients is seriously affected.Although Western medicine treatment can effectively alleviate the symptoms of patients, it has no good effect on the repeatability of symptoms.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment has unique curative effect on the disease, and it has certain advantages in improving patients′ symptoms, reducing recurrence and improving cure rate.In the clinical learning process and reading ancient Chinese books, it is known that the occurrence and development of gastroesophageal reflux disease is related to "depression".This article firstly shows the meaning and development of "depression syndrome", then the etiology and pathogenesis of gastroesophageal reflux disease is demonstrated from the perspective of "depression causing disease".Finally, the treatment based on "relieving depression" is illustrated.Through the differentiation of syndromes, the treatment methods such as dispersing liver and regulating qi, activating qi and promoting blood, clearing heat and resolving dampness, reducing qi and removing phlegm, benefiting qi and replenishing spleen, are flexibly adopted, and the importance to the a djustment of spirit, diet and lifestyle was attached to achieve curative effect.
