Abstract:Objective To analyze the efficacy of Inhaled Budesonide Suspension on acute attack of pediatric asthma and its influence on pulmonary function. Methods From May 2014 to May 2017,80 asthmatic children with acute attack treated in our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were equally divided into control group and observation group by a random number table method. In the control group, routine treatments such as cough relieving and expectoration were used, while in the observation group,Inhaled Budesonide Suspension on the basis of the control group was added. The improvement of clinical indicators, hospital stay, and changes in pulmonary function were analyzed in both groups. Results The total effectiveness rate in the observation group was 92.50%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group accounting for 75.00% (P<0.05).The disappearing time of symptoms such as cough, wheezing, wheezing rale in the lungs, and dyspnea in the observation group was lesser than that in the control group, which was displayed statistical significant(P<0.05).The hospital stay in the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the lung function indexes such as forced expiratory volume in 1 s(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),and peak expiratory flow (PEF)between the two groups(P>0.05).After 7 day treatment, the lung function indexes mentioned above of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The values of these lung function indexes in the observation group was higher than those in the control group with statistical differences after comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion For asthmatic children on acute attack,Inhaled Budesonide Suspension is beneficial to relieving clinical symptoms and improving lung function, shortening hospital stay, and promoting pediatric rehabilitation in a definite effect, which is worthy of clinical application.
