Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of intravenous Oxytocin (OT) on cervical ripening induced labor combined with COOK double balloon. Methods All of 124 pregnant and parturient women who were treated in Shenzhen Shajing People′s Hospital of Bao′an District in Shenzhen City from July 2016 to December 2017 were selected as the object of observation. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,62 cases in each group..The control group was used controlledreleased dinoprostone suppositories for induction of labor, the observation group was used intravenous drip of OT to promote cervical maturation induced labor and combined COOK double balloon technique. The cervical ripening and the outcome of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of cervical maturity in the observation group was 96.16%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group (80.65%).The rate of induced labor in the observation group was 90.32%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.81%).In the way of delivery, the rate of vaginal delivery in the observation group was 69.35%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group (48.39%).The total labor process of vaginal delivery in the observation group was(406±163)min,which was significantly shorter than that of the control group ([543±194]min).The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Intravenous drip of OT to promote cervical maturation induced labor combined with COOK double balloon is effective, which can promote cervical maturity and improve the rate of vaginal delivery.
