Abstract:Objective To explore the value of microbiological examination technology in the clinical diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) in chronic gastritis. Methods A total of 50 confirmed patients with chronic gastritis admitted to Jingmen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, and perform gastroscopy and microbiological testing for all patients. Gastroscopy waas the gold standard, and the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of ultracentrifugation and isolation culture were compared. Results There were 27 Hp-positive patients and 23 Hp-negative patients with the gold standard. In the ultracentrifugation culture, there were 27 patients with Hp positive and 22 patients with Hp-negative. The accuracy of ultracentrifugation culture was 98.00% (49/50), the sensitivity was 100.00% (27/27), and the specificity was 95.65% (22/23). In the isolation culture, there were 28 cases were Hp-positive patients and 22 cases were Hp-negative patients. The accuracy of isolation culture was 94.00% (47/50), the sensitivity was 96.29% (26/27), and the specificity was 91.30% (21/23). There was no statistically significant difference in the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of ultracentrifugation culture and insolation culture (P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the test satisfaction scores of ultracentrifugation culture and insolation culture (P>0.05). Conclusion In the diagnosis of Hp in patients with chronic gastritis, the auxiliary diagnosis is completed by means of ultracentrifugation culture and insolation culture, which can effectively evaluate the clinical situation of the patient′s Hp infection and provide feedback on the patient′s pathogenic bacteria..
