Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of modified C-shaped tissue-selecting therapy stapler(TST)of hemorrhoids mucosa in the treatment of hemorrhoids. Methods A total of 150 patients with hemorrhoids admitted to Qingcheng People Hospital of Qingyuan City from January 2016 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table methods, they were divided into the control group(75 cases)and the observation group(75 cases). The control group was treated with procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH),and the observation group was treated with modified TST.The operative conditions(operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay)and complications(anal stenosis, pain, etc.)of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The operation time and hospital stay of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss of the observation group was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with PPH,modified TST has shorter operation time and hospital stay, less intraoperative bleeding, and lower incidence of postoperative complications such as anal stenosis and pain, and has higher clinical application value.
