Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of vitrectomy in diabetic retinopathy. Methods From January 2017 to June 2019, 80 patients with diabetic retinopathy (80 eyes) in the Department of Ophthalmology from Jingdezhen No.1 People′s Hospital were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group (40 cases, 40 eyes)and experimental group (40 cases, 40 eyes) by random number table grouping method. The experimental group was given vitrectomy, and the control group was given retinal laser. The intraocular pressure, best corrected visual acuity at each time period and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in intraocular pressures between the two groups before operation, 1 day, 1 week and 1, 3 and 6 months after operation (P>0.05).The intraocular pressures of the two groups at 1 week after operation were higher than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The best corrected visual acuity of the two groups at 3 months after operation was lower than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The best corrected visual acuity at 3 months after operation in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical treatment effect of the vitrectomy is significant, which can reduce the best corrected visual acuity, reduce postoperative complications, and does not affect the postoperative intraocular pressure of patients with ophthalmic diabetic retinopathy. Therefore, this method is worthy of popularization.
