Abstract:Objective To evaluate the influence of pharmaceutical intervention + systematic prescription evaluation on rational use of Quinolones in patients with infectious diseases. Methods A total of 684 patients with infectious diseases in Sihong Hospital from February 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the research subjects. All patients were treated with Quinolones prescriptions and divided into an intervention group and a general group by the random number table method. Patients in the intervention group were treated with pharmaceutical intervention + systematic prescription evaluation, while patients in the general group were treated with conventional prescription intervention. Unreasonable prescription, drug resistance and drug satisfaction were observed between the two groups. Results The contraindications, unreasonable usage and dosage, incompatibility and off-label drug use in the intervention group were 0.29%,2.34%,0.88% and 1.46%,respectively,which were lower than those in the general group (2.34%,7.89%,3.51%,5.85%),with statistical significances (P<0.05). The total incidence of irrational prescription in the intervention group(4.97%) was lower than that in the general group (19.59%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The drug resistance of Levofloxacin,Moxifloxacin,Gatifloxacin and Fonofloxacin in the intervention group were 8.19%,6.43%,5.26% and 6.14%,respectively,lower than 14.91%,13.74%,9.65% and 11.40% in the general group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). The total medication satisfaction of the intervention group (97.66%) was higher than that of the general group (93.27%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Pharmaceutical intervention combined with systematic prescription evaluation can improve the rationality of prescription, promote Quinolones′ rational use,and have a positive effect on inhibiting Quinolones drug resistance.
