Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of external application of aloe and South African leaf compound fresh dressing on incontinence-associated dermatitis(IAD).Methods A total of 100 patients with IAD admitted to Shunde Hospital of the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group.The control group used of Zinc Oxide Ointment on the basis of routine skin care,while the observation group used of Compound Fresh dressing on the basis of routine skin care(mixed proportion of aloe and South African leaf juice was 4∶1).The total effective rate,cure time and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were observed and recorded after 5 days of treatment.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 100%,higher than that of the control group 88%,and the nursing total satisfaction of the observation group was 96%,higher than that of the control group 60%,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The skin wound healing time of the observation group was(3.61±2.52)d,shorter than that of the control group of(6.83±3.42)d,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Aloe and South African Leaf compound fresh dressing can improves the therapeutic effect and nursing satisfaction for the treatment of IAD,shortens the cure time,and is a practical and effective new method for the treatment of IAD,which is worthy of wide promotion in the clinical and domestic settings.
