Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of local application of positional pad and aloe vera gel in the prevention of pressure sores in prone-position surgery.MethodsA total of 120 patientswho underwent spinal prone position surgery in our hospital from February 2016 to June 2017 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatmentmethods,with 60 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with body position pads,while patients in the observation group were treated with body position pads combined with local application of aloe gel,and the skin pressure and pressure ulcer incidence of the two groups were compared.ResultsThe skin pressure of two groups of patients has obvions improvement wend.The incidence of difference skim compression in the observation group was lower than that of the control group 1 h after operation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of skin compression between the two groups 30min,24 h and 48 h after operation(P>0.05).the skin pressure of the two groupswas lower than that of 30 min after 48 h operation (P<0.05).The incidence rate of pressure sores in the observation group was 3.33%lower than that in the control group(13.33%(8/60),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.927,P=0.048).ConclusionIn the prone-position surgery,the position pad combined with local application of aloe vera gel can effectively prevent the occurrence of pressure sores and play a certain protection on the skin,which has a clinical application value.
