Abstract：ObjectiveTo explore the application and effects of improved method of fixed for indwelling gastric tube′s patients in department of general surgery.Methods80 cases with indwelling gastric tube′s patients from November 2015 to May 2016 were selected and divided into control group (n=38)in which 3M pressure fixing tape“workers “shape fixation was applied and observation group (n=42)in which 3M tape fixation in modified fixed method were used.The incidence of nasal pressure ulcers,tapemaintaining time and gastric tube slippage rate of patients were compared in two groups.ResultsIn observation group,the incidence of nasal pressure ulcers in patients was lower than that of control group,the tape maintain a longer time and gastric tube slippage rate were significantly lower than those of control group,the differences were significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionsModified fixed with 3M pressure tape fixation of gastric tube has lower incidence of nasal pressure ulcers and prolonged duration,which reducing gastric tube slippage rate and nursing workload while patients are more comfortable.Which is worthy of being applied in patients with indwelling catheter.
