Abstract:Objective To explore the changes of fractional exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO)and its relationship with serum immunoglobulin(IgE)expression in children with allergic asthma. Methods From March 2018 to may 2020,120 children with allergic asthma admitted to Jiangmen Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the observation group, while 120 children without allergic asthma were selected as the control group. The FeNO and serum IgE levels of the two groups were compared, the correlation between FeNO and serum IgE was analyzed, the receiver operating characteristics(ROC)curves of the subjects were drawn, and the efficacy of single or combined FeNO and serum IgE in the diagnosis of allergic asthma was analyzed. Results The FeNO and serum IgE levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Pearson correlation showed that FeNO and serum IgE levels were positively correlated(r=0.743, P<0.05).The AUC of FeNO and serum IgE combined diagnosis of allergic asthma was 0.917,the specificity and sensitivity were 0.932 and 0.727 respectively, the specificity was higher than the single detection of each index. Conclusion The levels of FeNO and IgE in children with allergic asthma are significantly increased, and the two are positively correlated.Combined detection could improve the detection rate of allergic asthma and could be used as a common index for early screening of allergic asthma.
