Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect and adverse events of partial gastrectomy in the treatment of early gastric cancer. Methods A total of 80 patients with early gastric cancer admitted to Haicheng Central Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group (40 patients) and the experimental group (40 patients) according to the random number table method. The control group were treated with radical surgery, and the experimental group were treated with partial gastrectomy combined with highly selective vagus nerve resection. The effect of surgery on the clinical effect of early gastric cancer and incidence of adverse events after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The gastric emptying functions of the experimental group at 15, 30 and 45 min after surgery were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The gallbladder contraction function of the experimental group at 45 min after surgery was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Digestive system diseases affect the quality of life of patients. Partial gastrectomy combined with highly selective vagus resection can preserve the anatomical structure of patients in a certain sense and improve the prognostic quality of life of patients. It should be promoted in clinical practice.
