Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and respiratory failure receiving bronchoscopy combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NPPV).Methods A total of 74 patients with COPD and respiratory failure admitted to the Iron Coal General Hospital of Liaojian Group from July 2018 to November 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group(37 cases)and the observation group(37 cases)according to a random number table methods. The control group was treated with NPPV,and the observation group was treated with bronchoscope on the basis of the control group. The arterial blood gas indexes(arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide[PaCO2],arterial partial pressure of oxygen[PaO2],pH),lung function(total lung capacity[TLC],forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1]/forced vital capacity[FVC],FVC)of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the levels of PaCO2,PaO2,pH,TLC,FEV1/FVC,FVC between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The level of PaCO2 of the observation group after 2 weeks of treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the levels of PaO2,pH,TLC,FEV1/FVC,FVC of the observation group after 2 weeks of treatment were all higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Bronchoscope and NPPV in the treatment of patients with COPD and respiratory failure can enhance the efficacy, and improve the blood gas indicators and lung function of patients as soon as possible. It is worthy of promotion.
