Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Sijunzi Decoction treating stomatitis after chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer. Methods A total of 60 patients with stomatitis after breast cancer chemotherapy treated in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the research subjects and divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. Patients of two groups were treated with chemotherapy, the control group was treated with Kangfuxin Liquid, the treatment group was treated with Sijunzi Decoction. The clinical efficacy, immune function (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+), quality of life, incidence of adverse reactions, 1- and 2-year survival rates were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+and quality of life in the treatment group after treatment were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in CD8+level between the two groups (P>0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in 1- and 2-year survival rates between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Sijunzi Decoction is effective in the treatment of stomatitis after chemotherapy in breast cancer patients, which is helpful to improve the immune function of patients, improve the quality of life, and has high safety.
