Abstract:Objective To investigate the X-ray and MRI features of knee joint stress fracture,so as to improve the early diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Methods From April to June 2020,25 cases of knee joint stress fracture diagnosed by Changsha Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research object. The X-ray and MRI image characteristics of the patients were retrospectively analyzed, and the diagnostic ability of the two methods was compared. Results In 25 patients with stress fracture of knee joint,28 knees were examined by MRI,15 of them were examined by X-ray at the same time,X-ray examination was performed alone in 2 cases. The most serious injury site was the medial tibial condyle(17 cases,56.7%).12 tibial fracture lines were horizontal,5 femoral fracture lines were oblique, and 1 horizontal fracture line. The positive rate of MRI and the ability of displaying fracture line were higher than those of X-ray examination, the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion The medial metaphysis of tibia is easy to be damaged by stress fracture of knee joint.MRI is the first choice for early diagnosis and confirm diagnosis of stress fracture of knee joint.
