Abstract:Objective To analyze the application situation of PDCA circulation in shortening the door-to-balloon time(D-to-B time) in the patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Methods The monthly D-to-B time and the compliance rate ≤90 minutes were retrospectively analyzed about 66 patients with STEMI who underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in the Department of Cardiology of Tongren City People′s Hospital from January to June in 2019. After the implementation of PDCA circulation management, the monthly time of D-to-B time and the compliance rate ≤90 minutes of 79 patients with STEMI who underwent emergency PCI from January to June in 2020 were analyzed, and the situation before and after the implementation was compared. Results After the implementation of PDCA cycle, the monthly D-to-B time was shorter than that before the implementation,and the compliance rate of the monthly D-to-B time ≤90 minutes after the implementation was higher than that before the implementation (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PDCA circulation has a significant effect on shortening D-to-B time in patients with STEMI, and can further optimize the diagnosis and treatment process of patients with chest pain.
