Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of plan-do-check action (PDCA) cycle management in the nursing of fever clinics. Methods A total of 51 patients with fever admitted to the outpatient clinic of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital from June to December 2018 were selected as the reference group, who were treated with routine nursing intervention. In addition, a total of 51 patients with fever admitted to the outpatient clinic of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital from January to June 2019 were selected as the study group, who were treated with management. The scores of basic nursing quality, nursing document quality, and professional nursing, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of basic nursing quality, nursing document quality and professional nursing quality of the study group were higher than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application effect of PDCA cycle management in the nursing of fever clinics has won the favor of most patients,and meanwhile it promotes the improvement of the professional quality of nursing staff, which is worth promoting.
