Abstract:Objective To study the influence of peer education on psychological intervention of family members of children with humeral supracondylar fracture.Methods A total of 60 families of children with supracondylar fracture of humerus treated in Jiangxi Children′s Hospital from October 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the research subjects.According to the order of hospitalization of the children,they were divided into the observation group and the control group,with 30 family members in each group.The observation group was given peer education psychological intervention,while the control group was given conventional psychological nursing intervention.Mental health score,quality of life score,nursing compliance rate and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The psychological scores of somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,terror and other psychological scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the families in the observation group were higher than those in the control group in physiological field,psychological field,social relationship field,environment field,and other fields,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total nursing compliance rate and total nursing satisfaction of the children′s families in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Peer education psychological intervention for the families of children with supracondylar fractures of the humerus can significantly improve their mental health and quality of life.At the same time,it can also greatly improve the nursing compliance rate and nursing satisfaction of the families of the children to a certain extent.
