Abstract:Objective To understand the critical thinking ability and influencing factors of nursing students from different sources and to provide objective basis for colleges and universities to make targeted training plans for different students in the future.Methods A total of 71 students in the 2018 nursing undergraduate class of Medical College of Shaoguan University (hereinafter referred to as "our school") were selected as the research objects,and the cross-sectional research method was conducted to investigate the critical thinking ability and influencing factors of the general college entrance examination and "secondary vocational college" nursing students.Results The total scores of the critical thinking disposition inventory (CTDI-CV) in the general college entrance examination and "secondary vocational college" nursing students was (246.06±19.23) and (254.93±27.44) points,respectively,in the stage of unclear significance.The cognitive maturity of undergraduates from secondary vocational students was higher than that of undergraduates from high school students,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The comparison of the cognitive maturity dimension scores of nursing students under different internship experience and gender and the self-confidence dimension score of nursing students under the condition of extracurricular reading time showed statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The overall level of critical thinking ability of nursing undergraduates from different sources in our school is not high,and it needs to be trained and strengthened in follow-up teaching.
