Abstract:Objective To investigate the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in a primary hospital in Zhuhai from January to October 2019 were selected as the research objects.The quality of life of patients was assessed by the diabetes specific quality of life scale (DSQL), and the influencing factors were analyzed.Results In this study, the total score of DSQL of type 2 diabetic patients was 33-98 points, and the average score was (58.77±12.04) points.The scores of psychological/mental dimension, physiological function dimension, treatment dimension and social relationship dimension were (2.53±0.47), (2.19±0.44), (1.87±0.44) and (1.66±0.42) points respectively, of which the psychological/mental dimension score was the highest, and followed by physiological function dimension score.The DSQL scores of patients with more than 3 complications, unreasonable dietary control, unsatisfactory blood glucose control, poor mastery of diabetes knowledge, low personal income (≤2000 and 2001-4000 yuan)and intermittent drug use were higher than those of patients with less than 3 complications, reasonable dietary control, ideal blood glucose control, good mastery of diabetes knowledge, high personal income (4001-6000 and >6000 yuan) and regular drug use respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus is general, effected by more than 3 complications, unreasonable diet control, unsatisfactory blood glucose control, poor knowledge of diabetes,low personal income and nonstandard drug use.The clinical intervention can be based on this to improve the quality of life of patients.
