Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of massage combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods A total of 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who were admitted to Jingdezhen NO.1 People′s Hospital in Jiangxi Province from August 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to sequence of visits,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with massage and warm acupuncture,and the control group was treated with warm acupuncture.The therapeutic effect,visual analogue scale (VAS) score,Japanese Society of Orthopaedic Surgery knee rating scale(JOA) score and activity of daily living scale (ADL) score were compared.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group (93.33%) was higher than that of the control group (70.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS score of the treatment group after treatment was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).JOA score of the treatment group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ADL score of the treatment group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of knee osteoarthritis patients,massage combined with warm acupuncture has a positive effect on improving pain,knee joint function and daily life activity,which is worth of linical promotion and application.
