Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of VR glasses on primiparas′ childbirth. Methods A total of 71 primiparas treated in our hospital from November 2018 to May 2019 were selected as subjects. They were divided into observation group (35 cases) and control group (36 cases) by random number table method.Control group was given routine nursing intervention, experimental group was given VR glasses during parturition on this basis. The degree of pain during childbirth (visual analogue scale [VAS], verbal response scale [VRS]and real pain intensity scale [PPI]were used for evaluation), mental state (self-rating anxiety scale [SAS]and self-rating depression scale [SDS]were used for evaluation), sense of birth control (labour agentry scale [LAS]was used for evaluation) and total degree of parturition satisfaction were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results The VAS, VRS and PPI scores of primiparas in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The LAS score of primiparas in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total parturition satisfaction of primiparas in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Using VR glasses can reduce primiparas′ pain during parturition, improving their mental state and increasing childbirth experience, it is worth popularizing in clinical work.
