Abstract:Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common clinical disease, especially in the middle-aged and elderly people.Among them, articular cartilage damage and degeneration are important factors in the occurrence of knee osteoarthritis, which often cause knee joint pain and dysfunction. In severe cases, joint deformation may affect the daily activities of patients.Based on the biomechanical properties of articular cartilage and the low self-repair ability, it is of great significance to study the improvement of knee joint function in patients with KOA.This article discusses the possible mechanism of mechanical stimulation affecting articular cartilage tissue repair and improving knee joint function from the aspects of the effects and ways of mechanical stimulation affecting cartilage cells, as well as understanding the clinical application of mechanical stimulation.
