Application effect of health education nursing mode based on mobile internet in laparoscopic hernia repair surgery in children

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of health education nursing model based on mobile internet in laparoscopic pediatric hernia repair surgery.Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent laparoscopic inguinal hernia ligation from January 2015 to December 2017 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the study group and the control group, 48 cases in each group.Nursing health education of the study group was based on mobile internet, and the control group adopted traditional health education.The degree of overall satisfaction, hospitalization time, hospitalization cost and the incidence rate of postoperative complication in the two groups were compared.Results The total degree of satisfaction of family members in the study group was 95.8%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (75.0%), the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01).The hospitalization cost of the study group were (5181.81±1241.94) yuan, which was lower than that of the control group of (5989.34±925.09)yuan, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The hospital stay in the study group was (2.96±0.54)days, which was shorter than that in the control group of (3.38±1.06) days, the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no complications such as scrotal emphysema, serous swelling, repaired area pain, hernia recurrence, intestinal sac hematoma intestinal injury, and hemorrhage.Conclusion The application of health education nursing model based on mobile internet can meet the health education needs of laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery in children.It can improve patient satisfaction and reduce hospitalization and hospitalization costs.
