Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Compound Lactobacillus acidophilus Tablets treating auxiliarily antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) in infants with pneumonia. Methods All of 90 infants with pneumonia AAD admitted to our hospital from September 2016 to August 2018 were selected as study objects and they were randomly divided into group A (n=45) and group B (n=45) according to the odd-even method (n=45).Group A was given Montmorillonite Powder, and group B was given Montmorillonite Powder combined with Compound Lactobacillus acidophilus Tablets. The clinical efficacy, symptom relief and changes of immune system indicators before and after treatment were compared and analyzed in the two groups. Results The total effective rate of group B (91.11%) was higher than that of group A (66.67%) with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The time of diarrhea, corrected dehydration time and fever time in group B were shorter than those of group A (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of CD3+T cells, CD4+T cells and CD4+/CD8+, IgA and IgG in group B were higher than those in group A (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of CD8+T cells before and after treatment in group A, and between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Compound Lactobacillus acidophilus Tablets have a good effect treating AAD in infants with pneumonia, which can effectively improve clinical symptoms and immune system indicators.
