Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of cervical dilatation balloon catheter applied in planned delivery. Methods A total of 120 pregnant women who received planned delivery in our hospital from September 2016 to September 2018 were selected.According to the maternal admission time, they were divided into the observation group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. In the control group, Oxytocin for induction was used, while in the observation group, participants were provided with Oxytocin + cervical dilatation balloon catheter for labor induction. The total effective rate of promoting cervical ripening, incidence of adverse conditions, duration of labor and success rate of induced labor were compared in pregnant women between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of promoting cervical maturation in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse conditions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The duration from labor induction to parturient time and parturient time to delivery of the observation group were both shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The success rate of induced labor in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Balloon catheter dilatation can effectively promote cervical maturation in parturients, shorten the process of delivery, increase the success rate of induced labor, and provide effective guarantee for maternal and infant safety.
