Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Shexiang Baoxin Pills combined with Losartan in the treatment of hypertension complicated with left ventricular hypertrophy.Methods A total of 50 patients treated in internal medicince department of our hospital and diagnosed with primary hypertension complicated with left ventricular hypertrophy from June 2013 to March 2018 were selected as the study subjects.All patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Losartan,and the experimental group was treated with Shexiang Baoxin Pills on the basis of the control group.The 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure indexes and echocardiography indexes(left ventricular end diastolic diameter[LVEDD],left ventricular end systolic diameter[LVESD],left ventricular ejection fraction[LVEF])were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was compared between the two groups.Results The indexes of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure after treatment in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The LVEDD and LVESD after treatment in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the LVEF was significantly higher than that in the control group,with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred in either group during the course of treatment.Conclusion Shexiang Baoxin Pills combined with Losartan can significantly reduce the blood pressure in the treatment of hypertension complicated with left ventricular hypertrophy,improve the condition of ventricular hypertrophy,and the effect is significant,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
