Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of sensory integration training in cognitive ability and motor development ability of autistic children. Methods A total of 58 children with autism who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 29 cases in each group. The control group was treated with psychotherapy and the observation group was treated with sensory integration training. The the changes of the autism behavior scale score, motor development ability and the gross motor factors in motor development ability were compared between the two groups. Results The score of autism behavior scale in the observation group after intervention was lower than that before intervention and the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of gross and fine movements in the observation group after intervention were higher than those before intervention and the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of walking, running, jumping and throwing in the observation group after intervention were higher than those before intervention and the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Sensory integration training has a positive effect on autistic children′s behavior and movement development ability. It can improve children′s sense, communication, body movement, language, life self-care ability and movement development ability.
