Abstract:Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) has been widely used in the treatment of patients with circulatory failure and respiratory failure, and can effectively improve the prognosis and survival rate of patients. In the ECMO supportive therapy, it is inevitable to use the interventional central arteriovenous tube. The pipeline is thicker, if the management is improper, it is easy to cause catheter-related bloodstream infection. This article reviews the risk factors, prevention and nursing strategies of ECMO catheter-related bloodstream infection, so as to provide a basis for medical personnel to prevent and reduce the occurrence of ECMO catheter-related bloodstream infection.
