Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of TURBt in the treatment of invasive bladder cancer at advanced age.MethodsFrom August 2010 to July 2016,45 elderly patients with invasive bladder cancer treated in our hospital were enrolled and divided into the two groups.In the control group(n=22),patients were provided with routine treatment,while in the observation group(n=23),they were treated with TURBt.The total incidence of complications,operation time,intraoperative blood loss,and hospital stay were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe total incidence of complications of the observation group was 8.70%,which was lower than that of the control group(40.91%)(P<0.05),the operation time was(51.45±1.18)min,the hospital stay was(9.36±1.08)d,which was shouter than those of the control group[(65.34±1.17)min,(15.45±0.27)d]respectively,and intraoperative amount of bleeding was(105.45±10.11)ml was fewer than that of the control group[(129.78±12.45)ml](P<0.05).ConclusionFor elderly patients with invasive bladder cancer,application of TURBt can obtain a remarkable effect and prolong these patients′life,which is worthy of further promotion and application in clinic.
